What is Stir Trek: Avengers Edition?
Stir Trek: Avengers Edition is our fourth iteration for the Stir Trek conference. This time we're stirring web, mobile and client development topics together along with quality, cloud and user experience content to present a fun day of learning in the comfort of a movie theater. There will be eight tracks of sessions, breakfast, lunch, and a private screening of the new Avengers movie, which opens in theaters the day of the event - May 4th, 2011.

What Does It Cost?
In order to cover the significant costs of a large scale event like this one, there will be a $35 fee for attendance. This will be the best $35 you spend this year, however. Take a look at what you get.
What Do I Get?
It is our goal to bring you significantly greater value than your $35, and here’s how we intend to do it:
- 40 sessions of critical content
- Well-known regional and national speakers
- Lunch and Breakfast
- Attendee T-shirt
- Private screening of The Avengers at the end of the day
- Refreshments during the movie
Are There Other Ticket Types Available?
This year we're pleased to offer one event admission with two tickets to the movie for $45. This is the result of feedback from previous years where many attendees wanted to have their significant others show up to watch the movie after the sessions ended.
Stir Trek Open Spaces
Can't get enough Stir Trek? Stick around for the first ever Stir Trek Open Space conference on Saturday, May 5!
An open space conference is a unique event where the attendees create the agenda the day of the event. Anything related to software development is fair game. Want to discuss how Ruby on Rails compares to ASP.NET MVC? Curious what other people think about popular JavaScript frameworks? Looking for advice on how to get into public speaking? You propose the sessions and other passionate developers will come have a conversation.
Most open space conferences involve just conversations, but we'll have some projectors on site so that you can pull up some code on a screen too!
The cost for this event is only $5, and that includes your lunch! You can attend even if you don't attend the main Stir Trek conference the day before. The conference will be at the Improving Enterprises office, 4449 Easton Way, Suite 100 in Columbus.
